How it all began ...
Our company was founded in Offenbach am Main as the "Leder-Chemie F. A. Triefenbach Chemische Fabrik Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung" on November 15, 1948.
Franz Albert Triefenbach and his wife Katharina Triefenbach were the first shareholders. The company's business object was defined at the time: "Production and sale of chemical and technical products for the shoe and leather industry."
Our corporate headquarters on Sprendlinger Landstraße were situated in the heart of the German leather industry, in Offenbach am Main. The world-famous Leather Museum is still open to the public today.
